Beauty Queen involved in Drug racket

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested popular model Darshitmita Goeda who bagged Miss Queen Karnataka title in 2014 for alleged links with drug racket.
Darshitmita Gowda is one among the five person arrested for involvement in drug scandal. The gang members of this racket have several high-profile clients and they even influenced College Students in cities such as Bengaluru, Goa and Mangaluru.
In November last year, NCB raided an apartment in RT Nagar area and seized huge quantity of banned drugs. In the flat where banned drugs were found, The 26-Year-Old Model used to stay with her boyfriend Nishant. During the interrogation, Nishant revealed that Darshitmita Gowda is the key member of the racket and she alone used to look after the finances.
Based on this info, Darshitmita Gowda was summoned by NCB and she was arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 following questioning on June 21st.
