Foundation Stone Ceremony of Kia Motors in Anantapur will be happening on February 22nd. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, Key Members of Kia Motors Management and few Lawmakers are expected to grace the occasion.
AP Government has allotted 600-acres land sought by Kia Motors. Basic Amenities such as Drinking Water, Electricity and Road Connectivity has been already provided.
The first car from Kia Motors Anantapur Plant will roll out by the end of next year. 50 percent of components are gonna be provided by the vendors in AP itself.
Kia Motors choose AP to set up its first plant in India. As much as Rs 13,000 crore has been invested on this project which is likely to create 10,000 job opportunities.
