Dates Of Last Cabinet Meet & Election Notification

Election Commission is likely to issue notification for the upcoming Assembly Polls and Lok Sabha Polls between March 7th to 10th. The term of 16th Lok Sabha will come to an end on June 3rd.
When it comes to Andhra Pradesh, The full term is gonna be completed on June 18th. Terms of Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Odisha will end on May 27th, June 1st and June 11th respectively. Even Jammu & Kashmir where President's Rule is continuing will go for polls in this Summer.
EC reached a conclusion that 22.3 lakh ballot units, 16.3 lakh control units and 17.3 lakh VVPAT Machines will be needed for 2019 General Elections. The Commission directed Chief Secretaries and Chief Electoral Officers to complete the transfer of election officers by February 28th.
The last Union Cabinet meeting is scheduled to happen on March 6th. On the same day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct a review meeting with Chief Secretaries of all the Indian States over the implementation of Central Government Schemes.
