Maynt Play For Australia Again: Teary-Eyed Warner

Australian cricketer David Warner was the chief architect of the ball tampering which took place in the 3rd Test against South Africa. He convened a press conference for the first time after being banned for one year by Cricket Australia.

A teary-eyed Warner apologized to Teammates, Support Staff and Fans for betraying their trust. He admitted that his actions are inexcusable and deeply regrettable. 'I apologise for letting everyone down badly. My apologies to the South African Players, Administration and Fans for bringing disrepute to the game on their soil. South Africa is a fine cricketing nation and deserves better from its guests,' he said.

Warner broke down while saying he might never get a chance to represent his Nation again though he wishes to don the Australian Cap. 'There is a tiny ray of hope that I may play for my country again but I am resigned to the fact that it may never happen,' comments the Star Cricketer.

The Australian Opener avoided direct questions on his role in the ball-tampering saga. He, however, took full responsibility for what has happened.
