During his stint with the Sunrisers Hyderabad, he had entertained the Telugu fans by making TikToks on famous songs and dialogues. However, David Warner could not continue in the Hyderabad franchise as he was released by the team ahead of the Mega auction.
The left-handed batsman who was not happy with the treatment he received from the management had openly expressed his disappointment earlier. Now he took a dig at the management indirectly while replying to a fan's tweet.
Former Australian player Tom Moody, who is currently serving as the Director of Cricket for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team was asked by a fan if the team would have a good auction or not. Though he did not reply, David Warner gave a reply opining that the team is likely to not have a good auction.
"How about having a good auction for srh tom? Please?," the fan's tweet reads. Replying to the tweet, David Warner felt that the team might not have a good auction. "Baha doubt it," he tweeted.
David Warner had indirectly expressed his dissatisfaction over the team on the infamous saga by not replying to the appreciation tweet made by the SRH Twitter handle on the heroics of Australia in the Ashes series.
The Kangaroo team Australia had crushed Mighty England and took an early lead in the Ashes series with 3-0. Appreciating the Australian team, the SRH team congratulated David Warner for gaining his form. Using the occasion, the team even wished him for a god auction. However, David Warner did not give any reply to the tweet.
"Congrats on the Ashes win Davey -- Looks like you are back to form and enjoying the after-party! On the other hand, we hope you have a good auction," SRH tweeted.
