Days after Controversial Ram Mandir remarks, TRS MLA lands in new controversy!

The ruling TRS party received a severe backlash after an MLA has made rather shocking comments on the government officials, who hail from the backward castes. The unwanted development has created a small size political storm.
Going into detail, TRS MLA Challa Dharma Reddy has addressed a meeting in Warangal. Speaking at the event, he reportedly said that the state was spoiled due to the officers of backward castes.
The MLA made these controversial remarks while speaking at the OC State Maha Garjana meeting in Hanamkonda, the meeting was organized by the OC Aikya Vedika.
Addressing the gathering, the MLA said that, the people in the top classes who were economically poor are facing difficulties. Even after scoring merit marks, they are failing to get jobs.
He gave an example of an officer, whom he has claimed to be referred by a group of Assistant Engineers. The MLA alleged that the high-ranking official was an alleged illiterate.
The MLA went on to say that, all the offices in the state will have higher officials and district officers from the marginalized castes. He attributed this to the state getting ruined.
The Congress party has lashed out at the TRS MLA over the controversial comments. Congress National Spokesperson Dr. Sravan Dasoju demanded CM KCR to take action against the MLA.
"Criminal case should be filed against #TRS MLA Challa Dharma Reddy for his racist arrogance and derogatory comments on downtrodden sections.. @TelanganaCMO @KTRTRS @TelanganaDGP," Sravan Dosoju's tweet reads.
Earlier on Sunday, the MLA was in the news for making objectionable comments on Ayodhya Ram Mandir. Following the comments, the BJP activists have attacked his residence.
