Deeksha effect: 10 leaders test +ve, Sharmila in isolation

Has YS Sharmila's ambitious deeksha for the unemployed proved counterproductive? With over 10 of the top aides of Sharmila testing Covid positive and in home quarantine, there is a hot debate going on among her supporters as to whether the whole deeksha was worth the effort?
There are now fears that even Sharmila has to get herself tested for Corona as many of the key leaders are already under home quarantine. As many as ten persons have so far tested positive. Sharmila's close associate Pitta Ram Reddy, senior leader Konda Raghava Reddy, Sangareddy incharge Sridhar Reddy are already under home quarantine. Sources said that even Sharmila, who undertook the deeksha and mother Vijayamma have not worn masks all through the deeksha period and constantly interacted with the workers. Sources say that no quarantine and safety measures are in place at the Lotus Pond residence also. Reports say that Sharmila has already gone into home isolation.
Even otherwise, the deeksha turned out to be a non-starter as it failed to generate enthusiasm among the youth. The attendance was thin and the media enthusiasm was lukewarm. The media was more focused on the elections in Nagarjunasagar and did not give adequate coverage to Sharmila.
