India, the second worst-affected nation globally with the Coronavirus outbreak has speeded up the vaccine trials. The vaccine manufacturers are waiting for the expert's green signal to vaccinate the public with the potential vaccines.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reciprocated the same in the all-party meeting he chaired to discuss the Coronavirus situations in the country. He sounded a bit confident that the vaccine could be made available in a few weeks.

As the vaccine is expected to arrive in a few weeks, the airports in the national capital Delhi and the pearl city Hyderabad are gearing up to be a crucial part of the vaccine distribution, reports claimed.

The storage facilities and temperature-controlled facilities in the airports will come in handy in storing the vaccine doses and transporting the doses without any issues.

Looking at Delhi Airport, it played a pivotal role in transporting and n distributing the PPE kits to other states during the initial days of the Coronavirus outbreak. Reportedly, no issues aroused in PPE kits distribution.

Now the Delhi airport is expected to offer the same quality services. The Delhi Airport has temperature-controlled facilities and cool chambers which can store the vaccines at the required temperatures.

GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo (GHAC) also posses terminals with cold storage units. The temperature-controlled zones and cool containers will help in transporting the vaccine doses.

Experts cite that the vaccines developed for viruses like Coronavirus need to be stored at extremely cold temperatures and the vaccines need to be used within days of manufacture.

On the other hand, the Union and state governments have promised to offer the vaccine doses for frontline warriors and health workers who served the people during tough situations.
