Delhi Gangrape Convict fears life threat

Vinay Sharma who is one of the six convicts of December 12th , 2012 Delhi gangrape of a nursing student in a moving fears threat to his life after few prisoners of Tihar jail assaulted him.
In an application moved by Vinay Sharma's lawyer AP Singh in the court, It was mentioned that inmates of Tihar jail attacked his client on August 15th and 16th leading to the fracture of his left arm. The lawyer even argued his client fears for his life as some prisoners issued murder threats to him. Vinay Sharma told the court he fears for his life ever since the death of one of the convict in Delhi gangrape case (Ram Singh) in March 2013. While Jail Authorities said it is a suicide, Family Members of the Mr.Singh allege its a murder.
Additional Sessions Judge sought a report from Tihar Jail officials and posted the next hearing to August 25th.
Apparently, Vinay Sharma has been beaten up by three inmates [Kamaluddin (dacoity), Chand (robbery) and Dinesh (drug case)] all of them serving prison sentence for over 10 years. Post the attack, Tihar Jail authorities shifted Vinay Sharma from Jail No.2 to Jail No.5 for safety reasons.
