Demoralised BJP, Clueless Congress, buoyed up TRS in Khammam

Buoyed up by the recent flush of victories in the Graduate MLC constituency elections, the ruling TRS is now focusing on winning the all-important Khammam Municipal Corporation. The party wants to get a majority and keep the two major opposition parties at bay.
The TRS has taken up launching of new projects and speeding up of the existing projects in Khammam. Recently, the IT hub, the new commissionerate building and Rythu Vedikas were inaugurated. Some works, which were pending on account of the election code are being speeded up these days. However, one humbling factor is that the party did not do all that well in Khammam district during the recent graduate elections. The party could secure a small margin and this was possible only because of the division in the anti-TRS votes.
But, the BJP and the Congress are in a worse shape. The BJP is thoroughly demoralised after the MLC elections and the Congress has become completely leaderless. The BJP, which was looking quite formidable till recently, is jaded a bit and is looking direction-less. The TRS is planning to used this situation to its advantage and win the Khammam corporation.
