Denied in first counseling, Colleges worrying

After initial rejection by JNTU to include 174 colleges due to various reasons colleges got an interim relief from High court few days back on condition of having sufficient required faculty, the Hyderabad High Court on Monday directed the Jawarharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) of Hyderabad to forthwith include the names of those colleges in the list of colleges for the on-going web counseling for admissions for the current academic year
But Higher education department expressed their inability to include these colleges in first counseling due to time limits. AS already fist counseling booking slots completed and allocation also planned to do on 30th of August committee rejected this proposal. Chairmen of Higher education department responding to media said he will check possibilities to include in Second round counseling.
However, as of now, 95,000 engineering seats are available for 84,888 students who qualified Eamcet-2014 in the engineering stream in Telangana. However, in the other two university regions - AU and SVU, there was not much decrease in either number of private engineering colleges or private pharmacy colleges. Since enough seats are available, it is unlikely that the barred colleges would get any students even if they are allowed to participate in the second phase of the counseling
