Deputy CM faces trouble within the family

Deputy CM and tribal MLA from Kurupam in Vizianagaram district Pamula Pushpa Sri Vani is facing trouble from within her family itself. Her close relative and sister-in-law Pallavi Raju is all set to join the TDP. The announcement came from none other than Pallavi Raju herself. She has announced that she would join the TDP on March 23.
This has come as a shock for Pushpa Srivani. Pushpa Srivani's maternal uncle Satrucharla Chandrasekhar Raju's daughter is Pallavi Raju. She is also a cousin of Pushpa Srivani's husband Pareekshit Raju. Her close relative of former minister Satrucharla Vijayarama Raju, who is currently a TDP MLC. Chandrasekhara Raju too has moved closer to the TDP.
Sources say that efforts are on to make Pallavi Raju the TDP candidate from Kurupam constituency. If that happens, it would be a tough fight for Pushpa Srivani. Pushpa Srivani has won from Kurupam in both 2014 and 2019. She is now the deputy chief minister in Jagan's regime.
However with the latest developments, Pareekshit Raju has become completely isolated. His sister is now all set to contest against 'Vadina Garu' Pushpa Srivani. It remains to be seen if Pushpa Srivani will score a hattrick in 2024 or not.
