Accused Ex-Cop's Wife Requests To Change Her Last Name

Apparently, former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is now one of the most hated person in the world for murdering unarmed African American, George Floyd. After his cruel behaviour upon the coloured men, Minneapolis Police Department dismissed him and charged under third degree murder.
Now, Kellie May Chauvin, the wife of Derek Chauvin has filed for divorce from her husband. She filed for divorce, a day after Derek Chauvin was taken into custody. In the eight-page divorce petition, she said that she wants to change her last name.
She also requested for an equitable division of their shared vehicles and bank accounts, and she won't need spousal support since she makes an independent income as a Realtor. It is reported that Chauvin is devastated after Floyd's death and she paid her sympathies to Floyd’s family.
