Despite criticism, KCR stays confined to farmhouse
X
For the past one month, Telangana CM KCR has spent most of his time in his farmhouse. Though he visited Pragathi Bhavan, the visits were fleeting. He is also not known to interact frequently with the officials and bureaucrats. The departmental reviews have become rarer. Those in the know say that KCR is being indifferent these days.

According to sources, there is a perceptible change in the behaviour of KCR these days. He is coming to realise that the tide is turning against him and that the situation is not conducive in both the state as well as at the national level. He is also said to be worried that the Central Government's strict regulations are preventing the state government from borrowing.

Those close to the TRS establishment also say that domestic issues too seem to be bogging down KCR. Post Huzurabad and Dubbak bypoll reversals, the plans to make KTR the chief minister of the state have been put on the back burner. This too is said to be leading to internecine squabbles.

Also, the party is not in a fighting fit shape. Internal dissensions, group rivalry and oneupmanship are dominating the party at every level. All these seems to be weighing heavily on KCR's mind, say political watchers.
