Despite No Mention, BJP Loomed Large In TRS Meet

One very interesting thing in Telangana CM KCR's long address to his MLAs, MPs and other key leaders is that he steered clear of talking about the BJP. There was no mention of the BJP, whose fortunes are on the upswing in the state, anywhere in KCR's long lecture.
Was it deliberate? Why KCR did not even mention about the rival party? Why did he not criticse the BJP even once? Was he afraid? Or was it part of a carefully crafted strategy? Sources say the meeting was held in the light of the rapid strides that the BJP was making and that it was held on the same day when the BJP had taken up the issue of Podu lands of the tribals. The CM did talk about solving the Podu land issue, but stayed clear of the BJP. His emphasis was only on building party's organization and on taking up issues.
Another interesting aspect of KCR's speech was his emphasis on the social media. He asked the party leaders to be more active on the social media. Analysts say that this comment is important because the BJP's attack is through the social media and the TRS is proving no match to the BJP on the social media. As a result, despite having print and electronic media firmly in its grip, the TRS is unable to counter the BJP attack. So, though the BJP was never mentioned even once in the meeting, the BJP loomed large in this key TRS meeting.
