Devendra Fadnavis elected as Maharashtra CM

Devendra name was proposed by senior MLA Eknath Khadse and all the MLAs supported his candidature.
Central ministers and BJP senior leaders Rajnath singh ;JP Nadda and few others attended the meeting.Speaking to the media Rajnath announced that Devendra was elected without competition.Devendra will be the 18th chief minister of the state and he will also be the youngest CM of Maharashtra.Devendra elected from Nagpur constituency and he was a leader from the backward Vidarbha region
Fadnavis enjoys the support of both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party President Amit Shah. During the Lok Sabha elections, Fadnavis played a very important role in cobbling up a credible coalition that won 42 of the state's 48 Lok Sabha seats.Party MLAS will meet Maha Governor Vidyasagar Rao today evening.
