Devineni Nehru has been trying his best to establish his son Avinash as a Politician since the past couple of years. At the time he joined TDP last year, He even revealed that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu promised to take care of Avinash's future.
Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma disclosed that Devineni Nehru always wished to see Avinash as a MLA. He said Nehru used to think a lot about the future of Avinash.
Not many knew that Devineni Nehru has undergone Kidney transplantation 17 years ago. Since then, He used be very careful about what he eats and preferred only home-cooked food. He is suffering from heart and kidney related issues since some time. On March 29th, Nehru conducted TDP Foundation Day rally in Vijayawada. He suffered from high fever on the same day and it didn't come under control after three days. So, He got admitted in Care Hospital in Hyderabad. Nehru was discharged on April 14th and began staying at a flat in Banjara Hills. Avinash went to Vijayawada on Sunday for some work. Unfortunately, Nehru collapsed after stepping out of bathroom at 4.30 AM on Monday. Soon, Nehru's wife and driver rushed him to Care Hospital. However, Doctors declared that he was brought dead. Last rites of Devineni Nehru were performed at Gunadala on Tuesday.
