US-based Pharmaceutical company Pfizer Inc and its partner BioNTech manufactured a vaccine to fight the pandemic. During the trial stage, the vaccine candidate displayed nearly 95 percent effectiveness against the virus, the pharma company claimed.
The United Kingdom government has given its nod to use the vaccine for the public. The process of vaccination will be started from the next week across the United Kingdom.
Now, the leading courier, parcel, and express mail service DHL International GmbH announced that they can transport the Coronavirus vaccine for any country within five days they operate.
Chief Executive Officer of DHL Express, John Pearson called for a press briefing on transporting the vaccine the other day. He said, between one to five days, they can transport to any of the countries they operate to. The courier services operate in 220 nations.
Referring to the Pfizer vaccine, John Pearson said our network and facilities will come in handy for us to transport the vaccine. Our facilities will help in storing Pfizer's vaccine, which needs to be stored at approx -75 degrees. The vaccine can survive for 10 days.
