Did Kodali Nani's Home Village Fall Into TDP Kitty?

Minister Kodali Nani seems to be the favourite target of the pro-TDP media these days. His fierce attacks on Chandrababu and the TDP have made him the prime target. Hence, they blamed from housetops the other day claiming that the YSRCP had lost the panchayat elections in Kodali Nani's home village. Despite a string of successes in the panchyat polls in Nani's constituency of Gudivada, a section of media highlighted the “defeat.'
But, here's lies the catch. Yalamarru village, where the YSRCP candidate had lost in the panchyat elections, is in Pamarru assembly constituency and not in Gudivada. Nani did not campaign in this village. He confined himself to his burrough of Gudivada. It is another matter that Nani's forefathers hail from Yalamarru. But, Nani himself does not have much connect to the village. Yet, this section of media has chosen to claim that the YSRCP had lost in Nani's home village.
On Sunday, Nani had to organize a press conference to challenge the media and the TDP to prove that he had lost in his “home village.' He said he has no connection with Yalamarru village. He and his father were born in Gudivada. He advised the media to verify its facts before publishing.
