Did YCP Deliberately Insult Ex-TD Minister?
By: Tupaki Desk | 4 July 2022 12:39 PM GMTFormer Minister and senior Telugu Desam Party leader Atchannaidu had an unpleasant and humiliating experience as he was reportedly stopped from attending the 125th birth anniversary of Alluri Sitarama Raju earlier today. The ceremony was graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Tourism Minister Kishan Reddy, and a few others.
As the event is graced by PM Modi and the Union Cabinet Minister, the list of attendees was made long back and the invitees were also invited over the phone by none other than Kishan Reddy.
However, despite Atchannaidu getting a letter and phone invitation allegedly from the Minister, he was not let to attend the event. On his way to the meeting, the Collector said, he cannot attend the ceremony as his name was not mentioned in the list of guests.
The TDP is crying foul that the Andhra Pradesh government did this purposefully just to insult and humiliate the former Cabinet Minister.
The sympathizers of the Telugu Desam Party say that, despite the invitation and his name getting mentioned in the list of invitees, he was not allowed to attend the event and share the stage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and others.
