Digvijay Embarrasses Congress Again: Invites Kanhaiya To Campaign For Him

Count on Congress biggie Digvijay Singh to stir up a controversy at the most inopportune time. At a time when Narendra Modi and his BJP are whipping a nationalistic frenzy all across the country in the wake of Pulwama terror attack, Digvijay did the unthinkable. He has announced that he would invite JNU’s leftist rabble rouser Kanhaiya Kumar to campaign for him in Bhopal. Kanhaiya is infamous for his Azadi slogan in association with the anti-Indian lobby at the JNU. Since then they have been dubbed as Tukde Tukde gang. This election, the BJP campaign’s sub-text is an anti-Tukde Tukde gang.
At such a time, Digvijay Singh’s decision to invite Kanhaiya Kumar to Bhopal and make him a star speaker has not gone down well with the people at large and even the party workers. Several Congress workers feel that inviting Kanhaiya Kumar at a time when firebrand Hindu leader Sadhvi Pragya Thakur is whipping up a patriotic frenzy in the constituency could be counter-productive. They feel this will only help the BJP and damage the Congress prospects all across the state.
