Congress senior leader Digvijay Singh is known to be someone who is close to AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi. Once in a while, Few developments in his personal life arouse the curiosity among the general public.
Few months ago, Digvijay Singh made headlines for his extra-marital affair with Rajya Sabha TV presenter. After the intimate pictures of the couple got leaked on web, An official announcement came from them confirming their live-in relationship and plans to marry in future. There were incidents of Digvijay making teasing comments on Women Leaders. On few occasions, They turned out to be controversial and invited few protests as well.
When he came to Telangana for the Warangal by-poll, Digvijay Singh didn't shy away from tasting 'Kallu' (a beverage made of fermented sap) offered by the local Congress leaders. This incident happened during the meeting organised by Gowda Sangham. Brushing aside the criticism, Telangana Congress Leaders claimed 'Kallu' is part of Telangana Culture & Digvijay has respected it.
Digvijay Singh lambasted KCR for going back on the poll promises. He accused KCR of sacking the Deputy CM who is a Dalit and not keeping his promise of Dalit CM. He appealed people to teach a lesson by voting for Congress Candidate Sarve Satyanarayana in Warangal by-election.
