Veteran Tollywood producer Dil Raju is banking high on the recent success of Balagam. The village drama is winning hearts for catching the soul of the village atmosphere. It is the first project from Dil Raju Productions (DRP), which was started as a second banner from Dil Raju.
Dil Raju is busy with his ambitious project tentatively titled RC15 as it is the 15th film of Mega Power Star Ram Charan. Director Shankar known for giving a social message in commercial films is helming the film which is being made on a massive scale. Kiara Advani is playing the leading lady in the upcoming Pan-India film.
In his recent interview, Dil Raju shared some interesting details about his future films and politics. His take on politics and opinion on venturing into politics caught everyone's attention.
Recently, reports emerged that the political parties in the state want to approach film celebrities for the elections, and a few people are zeroed on for this and Dil Raju is among them. Though there was no official information on this, the reports surprised many.
In the interview, Dil Raju was asked about his political ambitions and rumours. Replying to this, Dil Raju said that he did not take any call on joining politics and only time can decide what happens next.
The happening producer talked about the relations he has with politicians as his friends and relatives are in politics and serving as legislators. "My Brother's daughter-in-law's family is in politics and the siblings are MLAs from Rayalaseema. My younger brother's daughter's father-in-law is MLA from TRS,"Dil Raju said.
Talking about the news that is coming in newspapers and channels, Dil Raju said that the news is coming but no one is interested in asking whether he had an interest in politics or not. He said this on a funny note.
In the interview, Dil Raju also said that he has no interest in doing direction contrary to the opinion and instead he wants to produce more directors. He expressed his happiness on the rise of films as Tamil directors coming here and Telugu makers are going to other industries.
