Dil Raju reveals reasons behind RV divide talk
By: Tupaki Desk | 16 Oct 2013 4:12 AM GMTContrary to the expectations, 'Ramayya Vastavayya' got divide talk on Day 1 due to the below par second half which has close resemblance to several films released in the past.
"The audience expected a pure family entertainer from our banner and the soft title 'Ramayya Vastavayya' too made them believe it's a family drama. However, they couldn't connect with the film due to the violence part in the second half and this led to the divide talk. Neverthless, movie buffs are appreciating the film. We are expecting a break-even by the end of this weekend and 'Ramayya Vastavayya' will be a commercially successful venture," he explains.
As per the trade, 'Ramayya Vastavayya' mayn't even enter the Rs 40 crore club by the end of its full run. This means it stands next to 'Baadshah' (Rs 46.5 crore) in NTR's career and wouldn't be creating records in the end. It's better if Tarak stop chasing blockbuster directors at least from now.
