What Hero Dileep did to save himself?

Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the kidnap and sexual assault case of actress held a meeting before filing the supplementary charge sheet against alleged main conspirator Dileep. Based on the evidence collected so far, SIT is planning to name Dileep as Accused No.1 in the case for hatching the conspiracy and hiring the gang to execute it.
During the interrogation, Dileep claimed he was undergoing treatment in a hospital on the day the actress was abducted and sexually harassed. He even submitted medical documents to prove his claims.
However, SIT believes Dileep choose this path to mislead the investigation. While Dileep said he was in hospital for a week from Feb 14th, Investigative Sleuths found out that the Actor had visited the hospital only once and was never admitted. Dileep was present at few film locations during this one week period.
Dr.Hyder Ali confirmed Dileep has undergone treatment offered by him from Feb 14 to 18 but he wasn't admitted in the hospital as inpatient.
