Indian singer-songwriter Diljit Dosanjh, who has been a vocal supporter of farmers agitating against the controversial farm bills won many hearts with his noble gesture towards the farmers.
Noted Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh visited the Delhi-Haryana border the other day and joined the farmers who are protesting against the union government's agricultural farms.
Diljit lauded the farmers who are staging the protests and said they have created a history by standing with the interests of the farmers.
The singer has also urged the union government to listen to the problems raised by the farmers. He also requested the media to extend their support to the farmers who are protesting peacefully.
It is also believed that Diljit Dosanjh donated Rs 1 crore for the farmers to buy warm clothes. However, there is no official confirmation about the donation.
Though there is no official confirmation, Punjabi singer Singga in his Instagram story claimed that Diljit donated one crore to buy warm clothes and thanked his fellow singer.
Earlier Diljit engaged in a war of word with Kangana Ranaut over the farmer's agitation. While Diljit supported the protests, Kangana found fault with the protests.
