Our Government lacked Majority: Minister
By: Tupaki Desk | 15 Aug 2017 4:40 PM GMTTamil Nadu Chief Minister Palanisami is facing troubles from his Counsel of Ministers itself. Just at the time when merger of O Panneerselvam's Camp with AIADMK is expected to happen, TTV Dhinakaran claimed he have the support of over 20 AIADMK Legislators which include Ministers.
Giving strength to these claims, Minister Dindigul Srinivasan declared AIADMK lacked full majority in the Assembly to run the Government. 'We require 117 MLAs for the magic figure. But, Our majority in Assembly is now just 115. Those two MLAs will return to AIADMK very soon,' he said.
If Ministers alone claim they lacked majority in Assembly, How could Palanisami Government survive for the next 3-and-a-half Years? The political crisis which surfaced post the demise of Jayalalithaa has only got deepened now. Who is going to take advantage of the situation? DMK or Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan?
