Putting a full stop to the suspense on her future in the Telugu Desam Party, firebrand leader Divya Vani announced the big decision of leaving the party. Taking to social media, Divya Vani made the big move. As announced earlier, she called for a press meeting and made sensational comments about the party.

Divya Vani alleged that there has been a lot of injustice towards her in the party as she was sidelined. Bursting into tears, the actress-turned-politician said that she never thought this day would come and, unable to accept the injustice, she decided to leave the party.

In her explosive press meet, Divya Vani took a dig at the recent resolution taken by the Telugu Desam Party to encourage the youth in giving positions and tickets. She said that the youth will be encouraged but they will be sons and daughters of TDP leaders. I waited for posts in TDP like a puppy but in vain.

Not just that, Divya Vani also shed light on the alleged restrictions she faced in the party. She vented out her anger on the leadership for not giving her a free hand and imposing restrictions. Without taking any names, Divya Vani said that despite holding the position of official spokesperson, others used to speak and there would have been no mention of her.

Divya Vani also alleged that she has been not getting any preference in the party and she was sidelined and a few party leaders also attacked her. Unable to face all this, I took the decision. I took some time to zero on my decision to get some clarity on this, Divya Vani said.

Talking about harming the party, Divya Vani asked why Atchannaidu was not removed from the party despite him saying there is no party and all. However, she did not take his name. Mentioned Party Ledu Bokka Ledu comments he made, Divya Vani asked why a person who made such comments was not removed.

Ruling out the jealousy angle behind her decision, Divya Vani said that anyone can ask the other women leaders if she ever felt jealous of them when they were given plum posts.
