DK Aruna's Daughter involved in Mining scam?
By: Tupaki Desk | 18 March 2015 6:44 AM GMTFormer Congress Minister DK Aruna's Daughter DK Snigdha Reddy seems to have alleged involvement in the mining scam in Dharoor mandal of Mahabubnagar district.
As per Telangana's Mines & Geology Department, DK Snigdha Reddy obtained mining lease for 1 hectare but illegally quarried over 20 hectares in Mannapur and Palcherla villages. The Officials brought this mining scam to the notice of Hyderabad High Court during the hearing of petition filed by B Krishna Mohan Reddy of Gadwal against the Minister's Family seeking CBI probe.
Mines & Geology Department imposed a fine of Rs 32 crore on DK Snigdha for illegal mining. The Minister's Daughter not only crossed her permitted lease area but also sold out 6 lakh cubic metres of stone and metal without obtaining a single dispatch permit since 2008. The further hearing of the case was posted to next week.
