DMK MLAs manhandle Speaker in Assembly

After their demand for Secret Ballot was rejected, DMK Legislators surrounded Speaker P Dhanapal's chair and manhandled him. The table of the Speaker was toppled, papers were torn and his shirt has been torn.
Later, Speaker ordered for eviction of DMK MLAs from the House. Around 2,000 policemen were deployed outside the Tamil Nadu Assembly. The House was adjourned till 3 PM.
Speaker Dhanapal was heard saying, 'When should I go, tell the people about how I was tortured. House will function only according to the rules'.
On the other hand, DMK Working President Stalin who's shirt was torn in the scuffle staged a protest outside Assembly. He decided to meet Governor to bring the situation to his notice.
