Doctor gets shock after receiving Rs 86 crore electricity bill

A woman doctor fainted after receiving the electricity bill of Rs 85.61 crore, over a period of two months on her husband's name.The Haryana Electricity Board has sent the electricity bill asking Dr Archana Krishna, to pay Rs 86 crore for two months.
According to reports, Dr Archana Krishna who was a psychologist had received a bill of Rs 85,61,35,203 in the name of her husband and the bill showed a consumption of over 9.99 crore units.Archana Krishna along with her husband was living in a two-floor independent house in Sector 15(I)
The victim said she received the bill with huge amount last time also. Then, it was brought to the notice of the officials concerned. She used to get power bill around Rs 15,000 for two months.
This is the second incident of a consumer having been grossly overcharged for power consumption, after complained he had received a bill of Rs 85 crore in September this year.Earlier a betel-leaf seller in Haryana has got a shocker of an electricity bill after received bill whopping over Rs. 132 crore.
Earlier a consumer in Haryana's Narnaul town got shocker of an electricity bill in after he was slapped with a bill of Rs.234 crore for the electricity used in his two-bedroom house.
