Caesar, the sniffer dog used by Mumbai police during the 26/11 terror attacks to save lives of the citizens, passed away on Thursday. This 11-Year-Old is the lone surviver among the police dogs part of operation during 26/11 attacks.

Apparently, Caesar was depressed after the death of his buddy Tiger. After undergoing treatment for depression at an animal hospital, He was brought back to farm owned by Animal Activist Fizzah Shah in Virar. Yesterday, He had a heart attack and breathed his last.

Mumbai Police Commissioner Datta Padsalgikar told Caesar, who is brave and efficient, will be remembered fondly for his services.

The labrador, Caesar, served as sniffer dog in Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) wing of Mumbai Police from 2005 to 2013.
