Dollar woes of Tollywood

In Tollywood, Most of the filmmakers will be shooting at least 10 percent of their movies in foreign locations. In the recent years, star-studded films Orange, Dookudu, Mr. Perfect,Baadshah and Iddarammayilatho have been shot extensively in countries like Australia, Spain, Bangkok, Malaysia, USA and London. Makers were using the shoots in foreign lands for create hype around their projects.
The fall of rupee has increased their Overseas shoot budget by at least 20 percent. Producers have been appealing to the filmmakers to reduce the foreign shoots as much as possible keeping the cost of production in mind.
