There has been a lot of suspense on what will be the future of the former Chief Minister YSR's widow YS Vijayamma in YSRCP, floated by her son YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. There are various reports on what will happen with her as far as the stint of YS Vijayamma is concerned.
Now there is no suspense over the future of Vijayamma. She attended the plenary session of YSRCP and addressed the gathering. Addressing the gathering, she said that she is stepping down from the post of YSRCP honorary president. Her speech took everyone by surprise.
Having cleared the suspense, YS Vijayamma showered praises on her son for his governance and lauded his efforts in implementing the poll promises he made during the campaign. Around Rs 1.60 crores were directly deposited in the bank accounts of beneficiaries. By giving lands to poor people, Jagan brought a big revolution, Vijayamma said.
Talking about her future, YS Vijayamma said, she has decided to walk with her daughter Sharmila, who started her political party in Telangana. She said that she decided to resign from the post as he felt that continuing in two parties-YSRCP and YSRTP would not be appropriate.
Everyone knows that Vijayamma stood behind YS Jagan Mohan Reddy when he started his YSRCP. She had extensively campaigned for Jagan. When he was in jail, Vijayamma, accompanied by her daughter Sharmila took part in the Odarpu yatra.
No matter what the situation was, Vijayamma did not leave Jagan and stood by him in his tough times. Now he is the Chief Minister and he no more requires his mother's support.
But the same is not the case with YS Sharmila who is trying her luck in Telangana politics. She is touring the state to know the issues faced by the people in the state.
She is going forward in her yatra with the promise of bringing Rajanna Rajyam, her father YS Rajashekar Reddy's ruling. Vijayamma decided to walk with her daughter. It is said that she wants to see Sharmila where YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is now currently. It will be a tough road but Vijayamma chose to take the road.
