Don't Stop Traffic When My Convoy Passes By :CM to DGP
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 July 2022 1:28 PM GMTWithout any doubt, the Chief Minister works for the public in the state. Given the big position Chief Minister holds, common people will face some issues with the traffic whenever the Chief Minister's convoy passes by. It is ok for common people to wait, but the patients also have to wait sometimes which could turn ugly.
People in Maharashtra need not face such issues from now on as new Chief Minister Eknath Shinde took a key decision that the traffic will not be stopped when his convoy passes by. The CMO is said to have taken the decision.
Not just that, the state Director General of Police was also informed about this and the DGP is asked to pass on the same information to the rest of the department so that the officers will not stop the commuters anymore.
It is the need of the hour for the people in Mumbai. The shore city enjoys traffic all the time. On top of that, such diversions will make it horrible for the commuters. They no longer have to worry about it.
The state Information and Public Relations took to social media to say that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has taken the decision to not trouble the public when the CM convoy passes by.
This is indeed a good decision. It would be good if the rest of the states also implement the decision taken by the Maharashtra Chief Minister. Though all cities won't have traffic like Mumbai, there will be traffic irrespective of size.
