Dont fight with Seemandhra people: Sonia

AICC President Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday gave full credit for the formation of Telangana to Congress party. Sonia Gandhi said that they would concentrate on the development of Telangana.
Addressing a massive public meeting in Karimnagar, Sonia Gandhi said that it was the Congress party which turned the 60-year-old dream of Telangana into a reality. She requested the people there to be friendly with Seemandhra people.
“You have fought for the separate state. Now, it is a reality only because of Congress party. salute the martyrs who laid down their lives seeking statehood for the region .The people from both the regions are close to my heart. I am requesting you people to be friendly with Seemandhra people. We will keep up all the promises made to the people in Seemandhra region,” said Sonia Gandhi.
Sonia said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) opposed the bill till the last minute in the Rajya Sabha while the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the YSR Congress left no stone unturned to stall it.Sonia also criticized TRS by saying that Telangana Rashtra Samithi played no role in formation of Telangana.
“Fight is over. Now it is the time for doing administration. This can be possible better only for Congress. TRS has no experience in administration and it is restricted to criticising others only.”Sonia concludes her speech.
