Don't use 0 & +91 anymore to dial STD Numbers
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 May 2015 1:28 PMThe new directive of DoT erased the differentiation between Local and STD Numbers. This allows people to dial the mobile or landline number directly sans prefix to reach those present in any part of the country.
As per the new directive issued by the DoT, Mobile Phone & Landline Users needn't have to use '0' and '+91' prefix to dial STD Numbers.
Few Telecom Service Providers in India have already implemented this facility. Now, The rest will follow suit soon.
Experts say, DoT's new directive will bring India a step closer to achieving full Mobile Number Portability.
