A Chinese study published in the Emerging Infectuous Diseases Journal of the US has shown that closed atmosphere and the air conditioners can spread Corona virus. The Chinese researches have shown that sitting side-by-side and dining together in hotels could cause Corona spread. A study on 10 persons in a hotel in Guangzhou has confirmed this. The study showed that the specks of saliva emitted during conversations usually travel for one metre. But, the air passing through the air conditioners can help spread it far.
The study suggested that the seating arrangement in hotels needs to be drastically changed to ensure that there is no spread of the virus. The seats must be fewer and located far from one another, the study suggests. Let's see if our hotels implement this.
