Both the National Parties are giving a tough fight to TRS ahead of the Lok Sabha even though KCR Wave was evident during the Assembly Polls. Congress Party is going to compete with TRS in as many as six Lok Sabha Segments. While it has got good winning chances in Khammam, Bhongir and Chevella Constituencies, Neck-and-Neck situation can be observed in Nalgonda, Malkajgiri and Mahbubabad. BJP, on the other hand, pinned hopes on Secunderabad and Mahbubnagar Segments.
While AIMIM is going to retain Hyderabad Seat, TRS is most likely to bag remaining 10 Seats without much opposition.
Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi have been holding public meetings only in the Lok Sabha Segments where they have good chances of victory. How many of these Six Seats would they win?
On the other hand, TRS Leadership is doing everything it can to downplay the impact of the national parties. KTR advised PM Modi not to waste his time by campaigning in Mahbubabad where BJP lost deposits three months ago. He told people of Mahbubabad will be happy if Modi accords national status for Palamur Lift Irrigation Project.
