Dr Sudhakar, who slammed Covid handling in AP, dead

Dr Sudhakar, who created quite a sensation with his weird behaviour and wild allegations about Covid treatment facilities in Andhra Pradesh, has passed away at his residence on Friday. Dr Sudhakar, an anaesthetist who worked at the Narsipatnam Government Hospital, died due to massive cardiac stroke.
Dr Sudhakar shot into fame when he levelled allegations against the YSRCP government on its handling of Covid 19. He said that the hospitals did not have even minimum facilities to handle Covid 19. He also said that the state government was not cooperating in treating the patients. Later, the AP Government had suspended him. Then the doctor staged a semi-nude protest and tried to create ruckus on the streets of Narsipatnam. Later, he apologised to the state government for his comments. The case against him is still pending in the court.
Opposition Telugu Desam has said that Dr Sudhakar died due to the vendetta politics of the ruling YSRCP. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has expressed shock at the death of Dr Sudhakar. He said that the Chief Minister should be held responsible for the death.
