Food Delivery Executives Of Swiggy Call For Strike Over Severe Pay Cuts

After the management failed to fulfill their promises, the food delivery executives of the leading online food ordering and delivery platform Swiggy called for an indefinite strike.
It is believed that food delivery executives took this decision with the company heaving squashing the earnings they make by delivering the orders. Around 3,000 delivery executives took part in the strike.
The executives found fault with the company slashing the amount they receive on deliveries to Rs 15 from the previous amount of Rs 35. They also alleged that the incentives they receive were also reduced.
With the delivery executive scallion for a strike, many restaurants, and food joints faced a severe loss as no executive picked up the food deliveries booked by the customers.
The food delivery executives even staged protests in major areas in the city like Ameerpet, Secunderabad, Ameerpet, and Banjara Hills against the company for not fulfilling their demands.
