The world is yet to come to terms with Cryptocurrency. The usage of the currency is receiving mixed responses. While a few support it a few oppose it. Coming to India, the government is not in favour of Cryptocurrency and wants to ban it. Once the world decides to ban it, India would do the same.

While the country wants to ban the currency, the shocking news of a drug racket using cryptocurrency in running the shadow came out. The police in Hyderabad busted a drug racket based on credible info. After digging deeper, the cops found that they are using cryptocurrency.

Acting on the credible information received, the Narcotics Enforcement department of the Hyderabad cops busted the racket, and as many as eight peddlers were arrested. The cops found that the racket uses the Darknet as a platform for their business and the payments are accepted via crypto

To avoid getting noticed and caught, the accused opted for the dark web. A few students are working as peddlers for the racket. All of them were arrested and later the cops held a press meet. During the meeting, the cops said that no one would be spared if they get involved in such business no matter who they are.

Narendra Arya alias Holy Shop, Farhan Mohammad Ansari alias Terminator, Utkarsh Umang, Sahil Sharma, Abdullah Khan, Indra Kumar, A Charan Kumar, and P Bushan Raj were arrested. Shockingly, Utkarsh Umang alias Aashu, Abdullah Khan, and Sahil Sharma are students.

By running the show in Darkweb, the racket even used the contacts and like they have on social media. Thinking that they can avoid getting caught by the cops, the accused are suing the dark web. The racket has more than 30 customers in Hyderabad and the racket is serving hundreds of people across the nation as customers as per the reports.

Transactions worth lakhs of rupees were made by the accused and the racket is said to have used courier service sometimes to send the parcels to the customers. The racket also sent drugs to parties and big hotels for big occasions.
