The Drugs racket bust at regular intervals in Hyderabad has been hindering the image of pearl city. One more drug racket has been busted by the cops based on a tip-off.

During the raid, the Indore police have seized 70 kg of methylenedioxymethamphetamine pills called ecstasy. While five people were arrested in connection with the drug racket.

The cops arrested five people in this case, two residents of Indore and three people who belong to Hyderabad of Telangana. The five accused j=hatched plans to supply drugs to South Africa via Hyderabad.

Dinesh Agrawal, Akshay Agarwal of Indore and Ved Prakash Vyas, and Mangi Venkatesh and Chiman Agrawal was arrested by the Indore crime branch in connection with the drug supply.

It is said that during the interrogations, the accused told the cops that Ved Prakash owns a pharma company located in Hyderabad where the Ecstasy pills will be manufactured. He and Mangi will supply the drugs to the other three accused for the parties.

A police case has been registered by the cops and the investigation is underway to grab more details of the drug supply. The same information was passed to Telangana police too.
