Dubbak bypoll appears to have generated a lot of interest and curiosity among the Gulf emigrants too. The Telugus from the Telangana region, especially those from the undivided Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Medak districts, have debated hotly over the poll outcome. Not just that, even after the results are out, the Telugus in the Gulf are still talking about the bypoll.
Many Telugus in the Gulf, especially those from the Telangana region, have felt that the Dubbak election result is a wakeup call for the TRS. They have said that they wanted a change and have asked their family members to vote for the BJP candidate as it could jolt KCR out of his complacency. Many have expressed happiness at the defeat of the TRS candidate and said that this would make them work for the people of the region.
