National Award winning actress Priyamani who is always the first choice of filmmakers for performance-oriented roles is all set to play the lead in the Malayalam film 'The True Story' to make her award count 2.
The film is about the story of a girl who goes in search of her identity. Although she is neither an amnesia patient nor suffering from split personality, she can't recall who she is and to which place she belongs to.
Priyamani feels its a powerful script and a challenging role. She isn't hesitant to sign this unconventional film as she has the habit of going for it if the script fascinates her.
The dusky siren's next release would be Bollywood entertainer Chennai Express. She has done an item number 1,2,3,4 Get On The Dance Floor in the movie. She says matching steps with Shahrukh Khan who's films she grew up watching is a memorable experience.
Coming to her Telugu flick Chandi, Primayani reveals that it's a revenge story based on real incidents happening in AP.
