Massive Earthquake Strikes North India

The quake measured 7.5 on the Richter Scale and tremors happened in several areas of northern states. Massive tremors lasting almost a minute were reported in Delhi, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab. Almost all states of North india suffered tremors for well over a minute.The earthquake occurred over 150 km deep in the earth.
The earthquake strikes in neighbouring countries Pakistan, Afghanistan. More than 10 people have died and 150 injured as per reports.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed concern and extends helping hand. "Heard about strong earthquake in Afghanistan-Pakistan region whose tremors have been felt in parts of India. I pray for everyone's safety."PM tweeted
Meanwhile thousands of people in the towns and cities where tremors were felt are still outside, fearing aftershocks.
