Earthquake in Afghan, Tremors felt in India!
By: Tupaki Desk | 10 Aug 2015 10:57 AM GMTAn earthquake with magnitude of 6 on Richter scale with epicentre at 88 kilometres (54.68 miles) from Feyzabad in Afghanistan was recorded on Monday afternoon at around 3.30 pm.
As per the US Geological Survey, The quake was at a depth of 209 kilometres (129.87 miles).
Tremors were felt across South Asia. Shaking of ground has been experiences in New Delhi, Srinagar and many parts of Pakistan such as Islamabad and Kabul.
The Nepal earthquake in April this year killed over 9,000 people and injured over 23,000 others. Even Today, A mild quake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale struck Nepal. We could only pray the destruction which happened in April 2015 don't repeat in any part of the World.
