In a shocking development, East Godavari reported as many as 1051 fresh infections on Saturday. This marks the highest spike of single-day cases in the region so far. The previous record was 792 cases from East Godavari
Out of the newly reported cases, 1019 cases were detected in the localities of the district. while 32 Returness of other districts were tested positive for the respiratory disease.
In the last 24 hours, as many as 185 people managed to recover from the contagious disease in the district, while 257 people were following home-lazaretto as a safety measure.
