EC Stalls Streaming Of Modi Web Series

Election Commission of India Today bars the online streaming of web series on PM Narendra Modi 'Modi - Journey Of A Common Man' until further orders. This decision was taken upon receiving complaints that the Web Series was violating the Model Code of Conduct.
EC issued an order to the Eros Now which produced Modi Web Series to stall the online screening until further orders. In the letter to the Producers, The Poll Body maintained that any biopic having the potential to influence the voters won't be allowed until the completion of elections.
'Modi - Journey Of A Common Man' presents the journey of Narendra Modi from Tea Seller to Prime Minister of India. Even the Childhood of the Prime Minister was covered in this Web Series.
Earlier, Election Commission stalled the release of PM Narendra Modi biopic starring Vivek Oberoi citing the same reason. Supreme Court will be taking a decision based on the report of EC on April 22nd.
