ED attaches Jagan's Rs 47 crore Property

The Enforcement Director attached YSR Congress chief YS Jagamohan Reddy's property worth Rs 47 crore in connection with the money laundering case. The properties include Jagati Publication (Sakshi Newspaper), Indira Television (Sakshi TV) and Janani Infrastructure.
CBI filed a chargesheet against Jagan for alleged quid pro quo deals with Penna Group of Companies. PR Energy Holdings Limited which belongs to Penna Group invested in all the 3 Companies of Jagan. While Jagati received Rs 45 crore, Another company Carmel Asia Holdings got Rs 23 crore.
These Rs 68 crore pocketed by Jagan were a result of quid pro quo deals with YSR Government. Mining Leases and Government Lands were offered to Penna Group by Congress Government.
